    April 6th 2009 - For Immediate Release

The Gallery for MosquitoCon 2009 is now available for immediate viewing.  To view the gallery click here 2009 MosquitoCon Gallery.

This past weekend, on April 4th 2009, saw the New Jersey Chapter of the International Plastic Modeler’s Society host the 2009 Annual MoquitoCon convention and of course, Mataka.ORG was there to cover the event which was held at the Wayne PAL Center in New Jersey.  All that we can say about this years event was WOW!!!  The IPMS New Jersey Chapter really did a phenomenal job in organizing and hosting the event as they do every year.  While we did not get any exact attendance numbers, I think it would be safe to say there were over 1000 people in attendance as the dealer and competition area was crowded all day long.

There were models of all types and scales on view for everyone’s delight.  You can see all the models in the picture gallery as we shot over 900 pictures of this years show.  You can also see the dealer area and some of the companies that were there supporting this event.

All in all this was another great convention hosted by the NJ IPMS crew and kudos should go out to them for such a fantastic job.  I can’t wait until the NJIPMS crews hosts the Region 2 Convention in October as I expect things will be even bigger and better!!!

To visit their site click on the following link NJIPMS Website  and to get the Region 2 NJIPMS flyer click here NJ IPMS Region 2 Flyer.

Be sure to mark the dates October 16th and 17th 2009 as I am sure it is an event you won’t want to miss.

Thanks for coming to our show and taking the time and effort to photograph the fantastic models and sharing them with all the other plastic fanatics.
    Thanks again,
